Traveling
on the River today to La Roche-Guyon and then Vernon
(Giverny). La Roche-Guyon grew around the Château de La Roche-Guyon, upon which historically it depended for its existence. The
commune's population in 2019 was 479.
These are early morning pictures....tell me this doesn't look exactly like Monet's paintings?
I suddenly understand what he was copying in many of his works...scenes in early morning mist....

The Garden
The small village of just over 400 residence was charming as well. And we were fortunate to wander the street before a lot of other tourists showed up.
