Cruising the River Seine
In the afternoon after visiting Le Pecq, we sat on deck and watched as we cruised the River Seine from Le Pecq back to Paris....a 15 minute car drive and a 7 hour cruise....on the river it is slow going, the river winding in and out and traversing several locks. But it was so beautiful and peaceful and the bridges that we kept going under were varied and beautiful....and low. The upper deck was closed because the upper deck had to be folded down so as to not get stuck on the undercarriage of the bridges.
Rounding the bend and making the full circle back to our dock in Paris area - the dock at Grenelle - we start to see the Eiffel tower again...
Passing under the the pont Mirabeau right before the Grenelle dock
which is on the other side of this yellow iron bridge.
And the ships radar is looking just barely clearing the bridge.
Great river view of both the Eiffel Tower and the Paris Statue of Liberty
(to the forefront left of the picture)
Evening in Paris (Dock Grenelle) where you may see the back of the Statue of Liberty lite up
Meanwhile inside the ship....
